What we experienced at the mental health center Andala was not mental health care; it was emotional abandonment and mistreatment. My husband was receiving ketamine therapy under a clear medical plan, fully willing to follow the center’s recommendations, including the dosage they themselves suggested. Despite this, the intervention we experienced was completely unacceptable. The intervention took place during one of the most vulnerable and delicate moments of a ketamine therapy session, just 15 minutes after it ended, and was handled with alarming coldness. A medical assistant, Karen Aiko Harcourt, abruptly entered the room and placed a device on the table without explaining what it was or asking for consent. The lack of explanation about this device was disturbing and created legitimate concern about our privacy, which is extremely serious in a mental health setting. Without any clinical justification and without listening, she suggested that my husband should go to another state, specifically Colorado, which is a serious and unfounded irresponsibility. When my husband calmly expressed that he wanted to continue the treatment and follow the dosage suggested by the center, there was no dialogue, no emotional support, no respect: only an emotionally violent expulsion. She took the device and left abruptly and rudely. We felt rejected, discriminated against, and treated as a problem, not as patients. This behavior is not only unprofessional: it is dangerous in a mental health setting, especially for individuals with anxiety and depression. If this center cannot guarantee humane treatment during critical moments, it should not be offering these types of therapies. I share this experience as a clear warning to other patients: the lack of empathy here can worsen, not relieve, an emotional crisis.

As expensive as ketamine infusions can be, it's great to be able to get an infusion at a reasonable cost. As a plus, all of the staff are pretty great. Whether it's chronic pain or depression, these people are here to help

Walking in its a great, refreshing, warm smell. Chairs are very comfortable to relax in, but ur not waiting long at all. Staff is super nice and welcoming. Corey and Alonso are just a couple of the experts we have had the pleasure of working with so far. The explanation and detail definitely very knowledgeable and we felt very comfortable. I mean its ur face so of course we have to be comfortable. Lol.
