The decision to utilize ketamine treatment for neuropathy and to loosen rigid CPTSD thinking was not easy to come to. Now that I've done it, I'm confident I have one more resource to lean into. Each session was clinically monitored and supported, leaving me free to relax into the experiences so that my brain could build new neural pathways. Treatments were intense, profound, and required a disciplined approach- keeping free of mind altering substances throughout the weeks of infusion appointments. The after effects, or results, depend on what or how much processing / rebuilding is done with a qualified therapist post infusions. Ketamine is not a cure, but it does open doors for more effective work to be done. It is very expensive, but also potentially life altering. I recommend it for those willing to be very intentional and consistent about their next steps in healing.
