Not many things are literally life saving, but ketamine was for me. I tried ketamine as a treatment of last resort in 2015 when ketamine treatment for depression was still relatively new. I went from suicidally depressed to hopeful after just two infusions, and my depression was in remission by the end of the index of six treatments. I have been getting my maintenance infusions at Ketamine Wellness Institute since shortly after they opened, and the experience there has been terrific. They are professional while also warm and understanding. Highly recommend.

Everyone here has been kind and supportive. The ketamine treatments have helped me extensively. The team at every level of interaction at Ketamine Wellness goes above and beyond with compassion and making me feeling confident with their level of expertise.

I highly recommend KWC. They take patients seriously. They are also some of the nicest people in the world. You immediately feel safe. It was a wonderful experience and definitely helped with what I was going through.

My experience with this Institute was not the best. Ketamine infusion for me was a last line of defense and I would have appreciated more care as I went into debt to pay for the treatments out of pocket (i ended the series early). There were several issues that concerned me and left me questioning if this was where I wanted to get care. When I arrived for my first visit, I was ushered into a room and given no introduction. Apparently the regularly scheduled nurse was off that day and the PRN nurse assumed I was a regular. After reminding the nurse that I was new they did backtrack and welcomed me into the clinic and took my weight and other vitals and explained what was about to happen. Before the provider (a PA on that day) started the drip she described the benefit of doing guided Ketamine treatments and how her and her husband provide that service. Is it covered by insurance...No. Do you have a card...No. But can give me the info later. What certifications or degrees do you have to guide others through Ketamine Infusions... None? Only you and your husband's years of use...No thank you. I felt like it was a conflict of interest and one that didn't want any part of and with lacking training... It felt irresponsible. Secondly, I was assured that if I took a rideshare home after the infusion that I would get a call from someone to confirm safe arrival home. In both instances of infusion appointments, the nurses locked the office and entered their cars before my rideshare drove off with no follow-up to confirm arrival. I understand that for patients requesting later appointments that it means staff stays later so this should not have been stated at the consultation as a requirement which projected a certain image of care and follow-up. I won't detail the other reasons why I chose to discontinue infusions. I will simply say this wasn't the place and/or treatment for me.

I came in very apprehensive of this treatment. I wasn’t sure if I’d even go thru with it. From the moment of my first email with Sunny to schedule I began to warm up to the idea of it. Shayla is one of the best RN’s that I’ve ever encountered. All of the drs are so, so good and Lauren, the PA, is the absolute most sweet Dr I’ve had in a while. Don’t be afraid of this therapy. If you can get it, get it!!

If you are looking for a safe and serene play to heal this is the one. All of the staff here are amazing from their wonderful reception sunny who continues to go above and beyond. She is wonderful, extremely fast at responding and always kind. Shayla, the Nurse, is hands down one of the kindest souls I have ever met. She is pro level with her IV stick and she never fails to put a smile on my face even on my worst days. The doctor stephanie is such a warm presence and always makes sure I am comfortable and feel safe. I am disabled, I have various mental illnesses and honestly ketamine has allowed me to cope, heal trauma, and it has given me such a safe place. If you are looking into ketamine for mental health treatment or pain management I highly recommend you come here. They treat you with a kindness you will find no where else.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Ketamine Wellness Institute, particularly Dr. Lateef and Sunny, the office manager and patient care coordinator. Shayla the nurse was also amazing. For years, I struggled with severe depression and PTSD, trying medication after medication with little to no relief. Beyond the logistics, what made this experience so transformative was the personalized care I received.
