Fresh Start Ketamine — Ketamine Clinic in Raleigh, NC

I can't say enough good things about Fresh Start Ketamine. I've struggled with cyclical bouts anxiety / depression for 19 years. I've tried everything under the sun - anti-depressants, anti-anxiety meds, supplements, every major modality of therapy, exercise - you name it, I've tried it. So it's fair to say I'm in the category of folks for which this treatment is ideal - those with treatment resistant anxiety / depression. I completed the 6 session protocol, and after the 5th session, the anxiety and depression completely lifted and I've been feeling amazing ever since. I'm about to book 1 year of periodic maintenance sessions because I want to maintain my progress. Aside from being pleased with how ketamine works, I was impressed with the level of care that I received from this clinic. The owner Jessi is highly knowledgable, compassionate, and always available if I had questions. Taylor and Meredith who work at the clinic were highly competent and personable throughout all 6 of my infusions. The experience of ketamine can be challenging and these ladies do everything they can to not only give you the highest probability of feeling better, but also to make the experience as comfortable as possible. I've included a picture of myself with Taylor and Meredith that was taken right after my 6th session. I truly appreciate these ladies for being amazing facilitators that got me optimal results.

I've dealt with depression for almost 25 years and have had chronic pain for 6 years. I've been on all types of antidepressants in conjunction with counseling, and it's never been enough. During a particularly dark period last year, I tried ketamine and after the first infusion, I felt so much better. I made sure to have therapy sessions after each of the 6 initial infusions and I highly recommend working with someone to help process your thoughts and feelings. It isn't a fix all cure. I still attend counseling and I have to actively work on maintaining my mental health because chronic pain is something I face everyday. I consider this treatment to be an extra tool in my self care toolkit that makes maintaining a healthy mental state a lot easier. No, the treatment isn't cheap; however, not doing whatever I could to take care of my mental health would have been a greater cost.

I've been taking my granddaughter to Fresh Start Ketamine and it has been extremely helpful for her. To the person who wrote a review that it's all about the money - that's not correct. Ketamine infusion is not FDA approved so no insurance can cover any amount. We've been stretching out her treatment until we can go just once a month. If I would take her for spravato treatment since the place she was going no longer accepts Medicaid, a once every 4 weeks would cost me $1,250.00 which is a lot more expensive than Ketamine infusion once a month.

I've truly found peace in my life thanks to Fresh Start Ketamine. Victoria, Jessie, and Taylor are incredible. If you're thinking of trying it, do it. You deserve it! I've gotten my life back after 8 years of debilitating depression, anxiety, and grief. I greet each new day with excitement and look forward to getting out of bed. I've found a love for cooking and don't spend long hours scrolling through my phone. Not every day is perfect, however I have the ability to handle life now rather than hide from it. I've tried 3 different treatment facilities, 2 or 3 psychiatrists, 5 medications, 1 amazing therapist, and read every self-help book available. Friends and family have loved me, cared for me, and prayed for me. Ketamine has saved my life.
