UPDATED - Lumin's staff reached out to me to discuss at length after the issues I reported. They seemed committed to improving their process and spent time going over every concern and the steps they are taking to improve. The acknowledged that their rapid expansion has led to some definite lapses in quality, but they are working on it. I am tentative, but they really seemed committed to improving and fully owning their failings. I have since been back and had a significantly better experience. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've been going to Lumin on and off since 2022. When I first started the experience was exactly what I had hoped for. The practitioners were compassionate and thoughtful, the environment was comfortable, and I genuinely felt like I was being guided through the ketamine process. Lately things seem different and I unfortunately have to agree with Francis' earlier review - the experience has changed into feeling like a mill. Now, they set you up, take your vitals, and you're mostly on your own until someone briefly pops in at the very end, if that. They'll ask how you're doing, but that's about the extent of the interaction. I certainly wouldn't describe this approach as providing "personalized treatment plans" or "comprehensive support." I want to be clear that I do not blame the staff, they seem to be doing their best. The change comes across as a top-down decision prioritizing quantity over quality. Lumin still has a comfortable space and still provides ketamine. If that's your only end goal, you'll be fine. But if you need the guidance and personalized mental health support that this kind of therapy benefits from, I would genuinely suggest looking elsewhere. Amazing treatment, great staff, beautiful clinic. Highly recommended

I've been going to the Woburn office for a couple of months. From the first conversation with Chester I felt comfortable. He is very knowlegeable about the treatment . My first appointment I was so nervous, and the staff are wonderful and helped ease my fears. I think it helps the process if you have an intention for that days therapy,, try to be calm as much as possible. Thqnk you to the staff; Dr Fletcher, Chester, Kat, Candace, Rumanan. These are the staff I've met, and it shows the quality professional they want to work with and provide their treatment. I know it's scary idea, but have faith, and this unique treatment could really help you.

I highly recommend Lumin Health in Brookline, MA. I've found the office to be a warm area upon arrival and the staff in Brookline have all assisted me in one way or another. They really take the time to get to know you, offering as much or as little support as you, personally, want or need before, during and after each session. As I enter the "maintenance" part of Ketamine therapy, I can honestly say that this therapy has given me a deeper sense of hopefulness for a bright future in a world that has become scary. From the moment you walk in and are greeted by Jess, everyone smiles and has a kind word. Great backgrounds and educations. Informative, professional, helpful and kind. They make each session very special. The decor is peaceful. Each room is private, with more peaceful decor. Your vitals are monitored. Lumin helped me resolve issues I had been talking about for years. I have experienced many breakthrough and seemingly permanent results since having Ketamine Therapy. I have done alot of personal growth, did talk therapy off and on for many years, and many workshops on working through issues. It's not that they did not help, but they did not alleviate the emotional charge and triggers. Ketamine helped me to access my unconsious and heal myself emotionally so that I was forever changed after. For example, I no longer have abandonment concerns. My anxiety level has dropped off immensly and I no longer feel threatened and scared if my husband and I have a disagreement. In fact, we've hardly had a spat in 6 months. We are both enjoying the benefits of my treatments. At Lumin, the office and rooms are comfortable, the staff is fantastic and I feel looked after and taken care of while I am there. They have noise canceling headphones, weighted blankets, comfortable rooms, beverages and snacks. It really is such warm and comfortable space to get treatment. Thank you to Lumin!

Life changing

The Lumin team is amazing and I'm so grateful to receive treatment at their clinic. I have felt so supported every step of the way. I mulled over esketamine therapy for a long time but once I got in touch with their office, I knew I was in good hands. The intake process was really comprehensive and I'm impressed with how quick and professional they were. Every single member of the office staff is so communicative and helpful, whether it's in person, on the phone, or over email. And the clinical team is awesome and so helpful during in-office treatment. This place is great. Jess is always smiling and cheerful when you enter, in fact everyone I’ve had contact with has been kind and happy actually which is rare. They give you a nice welcome bag when you arrive which includes things like a mug, an insulated snack bag, a blank journal as well as a treatment specific journal, and some other stuff. The rooms are comfortable and quiet and they provide little candies in each one along with items such as a weighted blanket, massage chair, and noise canceling headphones. There’s also tea and a “snack bar” for a treat on your way out. I’ve definitely noticed improvement in myself since starting & would recommend this treatment and this location/company.
