Good psychiatrist office. The staff is pretty friendly. I like how they work with you when it comes to payments. I’m happy with the treatment I’m receiving here. I been coming here for about 4 years now. The call center you speak with is Amazing. I called and spoke with Angelica and I was very depressed and crying and couldn’t compose myself. She got me in for an appt with my doctor almost immediately. She was a very kind genuine person and the world needs more people like her. Thank you Angelica. I enjoy my nurse practitioner Liz. She’s very honest, helpful and treats me well. She’s very relatable. She always make sure my paperwork is done fast and always letting me know she just wants to help me get better. Mental illness isn’t a joke. I’m glad this clinic takes me seriously!

I love Elizabeth Rotella who I come to see for my medication and diagnoses, she is so knowledgeable and helpful and I never feel like I’m being too much by having her change things when I need to if something I’ve tried hasn’t been working for me. The people in the office are very nice, and friendly. The only downside I have is their no show/late policy. They have a $150 no show fee and you HAVE to cancel 24hr before or they will charge you, they will call you on a Saturday but they can not reschedule if your appointment is on Monday bc it has to be a business day they are open, which can be an inconvenience at times if you have ADHD like I do and can not remember anything unless I write it down 10 times. I stay for Liz bc she is amazing and has helped me out so much in managing my mental health.

Updated: Was recommended Ketamine therapy by my doctor. The first 9 treatments kind of started to make me feel better. So he suggested another 9 treatments. I did another 3, and the experiences were getting worse and worse, so I stopped. It helped for less than a few weeks, and then my anxiety came back worse than I've ever had. I ended up going to inpatient care 2 times under their care. All my doctor appointments were about medication and what the medication does. My medications were changed 7 times while coming here. I was taking 10 meds a day at this point. My doctor, I'd been seeing this whole time, stated that my anxiety and panic disorder were clinically untreatable, and my only hope was TMS. So now I am in debt thousands for Ketamine "therapy" that made me worse, and they want to sell me another couple of the grand of services. But dont worry, we can finance you in-house. I felt utterly defeated by hearing my doctor say I was hopeless. I did research and chose not to get TMS as it permanently changed your brains chemistry and was compared to a modern-day lobotomy by sources. So do your research. Don't just fall for all the new hype like I did. Shame on them for taking advantage of people who would pay any amount in the world to feel hope and feel better. Well, I downward spiraled and ended up in treatment again. This time, I met an amazing doctor who didn't just talk about medications. He got me connected with a therapist, who also teaches meditation and uses it hand in hand with his treatment. I started on new medications, therapy, and meditation. I haven't had a panic attack in over a year, and my life is good. Compared to having them daily for 3 to 12 hours of debilitating panic when under this practices care.

If you are not looking for TMS/ketamine treatments do yourself a favor and go anywhere else! You will need to call them out on their attempts at fraud and threaten legal action for harassment to get them to leave you alone. The providers here all work on commission, it's stated clearly in their own job descriptions posted on their own website, and will relentlessly try to push this stuff on you without any explanation even when you make it clear you are not interested and are looking for other med options only. I went to my provider, NP David Gallegos, with concerns about the meds I was on. I had been on this anxiety med for nearly 10 years and was not happy with it any more. I've tried virtually nothing else and was wanting other med options. I do not have MDD which is the only thing TMS is FDA approved for. He immediately went on to try to sell me TMS but could not give me any legitimate reason why this would be a good option for me. He then tried to prescribe me an extremely high dose of anti depressant, then specifically told me NOT to take it, and that he was prescribing it for no other reason than so my insurance would cover TMS. This is INSURANCE FRAUD. His record keeping is horrendous and he does not listen to what you tell him. I had to tell him 3 times in a 15 min appt I had stopped taking a med before it finally registered with him and then he acted shocked. This should never have been news to him at this point because I had already stopped taking this med and had already told him so at my previous appt a month earlier. He had made changes to my meds, I thought based on this knowledge, that caused major chaos and only made things much worse for me. Again, he was shocked because what we had spoken about in my appt and what he had documented were not at all the same. My last appt there he gave me a script and samples of a new anti depressant. Again, no valid explanation when asked as to why this med was a good option when there are literally hundreds of others that I've never tried that aren't going to cost me a $125 A MONTH copay. I left knowing I was never going back but stupidly made a follow up appt just to get out of there without a hassle. After confirming with my pharm that the med was going to be a special order and the price I cancelled the script and called to cancel the follow up appt where I specifically told them I would not be going back and to not contact me. Then the calls started. The day after cancellation I got 3 phone calls from this office in the 8 hours I was at work to reschedule. I was finally able to call back after the 3rd call and told the person who answered to never contact me again. I then sent them a msg via their portal giving them more detailed info on events and once again telling them to never contact me again. The next morning I got a txt msg about it from their retention team. That's FOUR attempts to contact me in under 24 hrs about an appt I cancelled. This is harassment and illegal. This practice and this provider only care about getting you and your insurance companies money. Helping you figure out what is going on and helping find the best treatment should be their ultimate goal and it is blatantly and obviously not. RUN AWAY!!

Elizabeth is amazing, all the staff at serenity are really amazing actually and I’m so happy with the care I receive here
