I have had ketamine infusions at several locations. The SKEW office in Auburn/Opelika is my favorite. I am always greeted warmly. The atmosphere is very clean and soothing. Sheilah, the PA, administered my IV painlessly. Needless to say, I was thrilled. If you are considering ketamine treatments, please give SKEW a look. I believe it would be worth your consideration.

Great staff, relaxing atmosphere. If you are on the fence about it i highly recommend it. I just completed my sixth infusion and can tell a huge difference with my PTSD and suicidal thoughts and now I am hearing Kay Ivey aka mema is trying to shut down something that helps mental health patients. I guess it's taking money out of her pocket because it's not supporting big pharma. Just like she did with CBD. Alabama is going backwards as a state. Which I hate because I was born and raised here. Has me thinking about moving to the free state of Florida. Anyhow. This is a great place and care about your mental health. Thank you SKAW. You have my support.and oh yeah the VA will pay for this service also want to thank them.

The nurses are great. Kind, helpful and supportive. Ketamine and esketamine have been a game changer.

The staff are amazing, professional, responsive, caring, kind, knowledgeable and I just love walking in that door knowing I will feel wanted and welcomed. It feels like home. So…. The ketamine infusions themselves... I keep getting better and better. At first it was just I actually spend time in the living areas and not shut down in my room. Then I started spontaneously brushing my teeth, not have to force myself to do so. Soon spontaneously empty the dishwasher - see it, actually notice it, not staring blankly past it, and just do it. Then sweeping the kitchen…. Like it’s so natural and not “oh my Dear Lord I HAVE TO drag this broom around - and all I COULD do is think about sweeping. Now I’m back to being social or singing as the primary activity and the broom is just habit. This time it’s washing counters. Last month it was cleaning the fridge. No more DRAGGING my feet and shuffling yo the kitchen because I have to. It just spontaneously happens, with a smile, a laugh, or a song. The technical term is behavior activation. It happens naturally when not depressed. When depressed EVERY LITTLE THING is a HUGE DRAINING SLOGGING EXCRUCIATING EFFORT. With each monthly ketamine infusion there is more silent unnoticed (besides me) progress. It’s amazing. The suffering was also silent. As is the healing. ❤️‍🩹 Years of therapy, 6 different anti depressants, still no sleep and no natural behavior activation. Such silent illnesses - PTSD, Depression, Anxiety. I get more and more of myself back every month. I don’t know if I ever would have felt alive in this body or mind again without the Ketamine. The depersonalization gets less and less and my mind and body merge more and more each month. I’m so glad that I found it.

Ketamine infusions have literally saved my life. I don’t know what will happen to my mental status without my ketamine boosters. I have gone from suicidal to living a full life due to ketamine. My insurance does not cover nasal spray so if is out of the question because it’s so expensive. It is not an alternative for me. I had an appointment coming up I know the doctor was going to be there. I am upset beyond words that Kay Ivy has stepped in to and has shown disrespect to those dealing with mental illness.

I highly recommend SKAW in auburn/Opelika area and their services there! The staff are excellent, very friendly and personable, also very knowledgeable ab what they offer there. I did the 6 infusions to help with depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts. After the first infusion I could already tell a different in my thoughts and behaviors and a dramatic change probably after my 3rd infusion. I’ve tried countless different medications and nothing has ever helped me long term. I also lost some weight and my appetite really bad due to some of these issues and just lack of wanting to do or be anything and have noticed I’m eating more and almost back to my normal weight. I am looking forward to going back for future visits and for once feel like there’s a brighter future! I highly recommend for anyone with severe depression!!

Sheilah and Emily are some of the best people I know And really Love helping people heal. On my first day, I came in very apprehensive and their professionalism and knowledge of the therapy really made me feel more comfortable. The therapy itself is something hard to explain. Just know it is safe and effective at the end of the day. It has done amazing things for me and I’m back to enjoying life more freely. If you’re nervous about it good, take it seriously, have goals, leave expectations in the waiting room, and enjoy the ride.
