I'm not the type to leave a review of anything, but what I got out of my treatment here can easily be described as miraculous. As someone who was diagnosed with major depressive disorder at an early age and medicated as such, I'd pretty much accepted it as a lifelong ailment. It's difficult to describe the trajectory of this treatment if you're only used to the typical medications i.e. SSRI's. I didn't notice much of a difference until around my 3rd or 4th infusion. There's a little bit of a sweet spot that you'll have to find with Dr. Wolff in regards to your dosage. Once you get this right, is when I believe you'll start to notice the effects of the treatment. I'm around 2 weeks out from my last initial set of infusions, and surprisingly in this time I've felt a continued improvement. It feels like each day is a little easier to handle than the last. I hope that whoever reads this review finds the help and healing that they're searching for, and that you highly consider ketamine treatment in such a safe and welcoming space that Illume Wellbeing was for me.

I suffer from chronic spine and neck pain, as well as generalized anxiety and depression. It had been suggested to me by my primary care physician that Ketamine treatment might help my severe chronic pain, which I had been seeking help for for years through specialists and pain clinics. I had written it off, as it didn’t seem as that was really something that could help. Months later, I was struggling more than ever in my day to day life. From work, to being the parent of a toddler, to my passion as a musician, everything was suffering as I was suffering. I was recommended to Dr Wolfe by a family member who had previously worked with her in an Emergency Room setting. After being skeptical the first time it had been recommended, knowing that this doctor had real, concrete experience in helping patients in that kind of environment made me think twice. I booked a consultation with little hope I would hear anything that appealed to me. Dr Wolfe was incredibly kind and listened to my entire story, which is extensive. She believed not only would I see an improvement in my pain, but also my mental health. She recommended I try a low dose patch first and with that, I had solid results, not just with my pain but my mental state. After the patch, I booked a string of infusions and with each one, things began improving. Having finished my run of infusions, I can gratefully say that Dr Wolfe has given me hope and helped me escape a cycle of pain that was nearly crippling. The added bonus of feeling less anxiety is also greatly welcomed. If you feel like traditional medicine has failed you, there is still hope if you’re willing to step outside the box.

I’m so fortunate to have found Dr. Wolff! I have a history of anxiety and depression, and had worked hard over the years to learn coping mechanisms. I had good success. But then, I had a year where almost every part of my life seemed to implode all within the span of months. It put me back into a dark place: fast. The worst part was feeling that I didn’t have anything more that could help me, as I had already worked so hard on my mental health. Fortunately, my psychiatrist, recognizing my situation, recommended IV Ketamine. Even more fortunately: Dr. Wolff was the first provider to answer! I’m so thankful for that. Imagine a completely new life in only 3 weeks. Imagine a life without self hate, fear, doubt, anxiety and worry. Imagine someone reaching in your chest and pulling out the rusty anchor that keeps you tied to your trauma and replacing it with hope, joy, healing and peace. To say that this experience has been life changing, is an understatement. Three weeks, two infusions a week for a total of 6 onboarding doses of ketamine. My first session was a dark and scary experience which left me thinking I was too broken and too damaged to make any kind of comeback or progress. Thankfully, instead of letting me discontinue treatment like I tried to do, Dr.Wolff and my angel baby husband assured me that I just need to trust the process and give it a chance. And THANK GOODNESS that I did Each treatment revealed exponential progress and new breakthroughs. Every time I had a concern or doubt, Dr.Wolff was readily available to talk me through it. Then one day I realized I’m sending her positive updates, realizations and feedback from those closest to me who were seeing this profound new change. Each day I had a breakthrough of some sort and was able to put down so much of the emotional weight I’ve carried throughout my life. There’s a vast difference between health care workers who are in their specialty for money and those who pour their souls into it. About a month ago, I engaged in ketamine treatment sessions twice a week for 3 weeks. This treatment has enabled me to delve into the roots of my trauma, to connect to my core sense of being, and to reevaluate my relationship with myself and others. I had preverbal trauma that caused extreme social anxiety and difficulty in communicating with others to the point of having panic attacks. All through my teens and 20’s, I had worked through this and was able to talk with others and even teach, but never felt quite like myself and still would often become overwhelmed in social situations. Then covid reduced interactions with others and I was back at square one, the social anxiety and panic attacks were back. After working with a therapist for over a year, and knowing things logically, I would still become overwhelmed in social situations. I felt stuck and then learned about Ketamine treatment. The consultation with Dr. Wolff helped me feel at ease and she provided resources to learn about Ketamine treatment. I decided why not… The first treatment was quite overwhelming. There was a moment when I was out of emotional regulation, hyperventilating, and spiraling. Dr Wolff helped me calm down, be present in the moment, and I felt like I was gaining peace with the difficulties of my childhood. Throughout the duration of the treatment, Dr. Wolff continued to be very supportive and wrote pages and pages of my chatter. I guess I have a lot to say, just have been inhibited from saying things throughout my life. Ever since the treatment, I can talk with people without disassociating and panicking. I am able to articulate big ideas, things that are important to me, and I feel a lot more confident as I develop my business plan and work towards some big dreams. I’m so grateful for the chance to explore a deeper sense of truth and resolve mental blocks and feelings from my adverse childhood experiences. The internal critical voices are gone (for the most part) and when they do creep in, I recognize them, listen to them, and can challenge them. But, they are not in charge anymore. I've had ketamine infusions 1-2 times a year for CRPS (complex regional pain syndrome) for the past 13+ years. With college, moves, etc... I've worked with many providers that I've liked but Dr. Wolff is my favorite. The entire experience was calm, compassionate, and kind. She was flexible with me wanting to listen to music but also provided eye masks, a blanket, and the only chairs that haven't made my back sore afterwards. I've had multiple back surgeries so that is no small feat! Especially if you're new to infusions or nervous, I cannot recommend her clinic enough. Dr. Wolff is kind and extremely competent. She stayed in the room the entire time with me but purposefully didn't detract from the experience by talking or constantly going and coming from the room like some previous providers. Dr. Danielle Wolff is a literal angel on earth. I’m so beyond grateful to have been introduced to her and this healing medicine.
