This is easily the best clinic I've been to! The staff are super great to work with, especially Stella and some others (Im sooo bad with names, please forgive me!). Dani/Danny/whoever Im texting for appointments is fantastic. They respond quickly and are very easy to work with. The anesthesiologists are all super knowledgeable and they always tell you what they are giving you, and how much. I appreciate that the patient has a say, even though I usually don't have much to vocalize. It's nice that they are always willing to hear you out. Everyone is so kind and patient which is super important given that you're working with patients who have significant mental illness. They wont turn you away in a crisis, and for the most part, they are always there for you as a provider. Overall ketamine therapy has saved my life. It helps me function when we ran out of medications to try for depression and anxiety. It's expensive, but you can't put a price on the massive benefits of infusions. Nothing helps quiet the suicidal thoughts for me the way that ketamine does.

I've been doing treatments since early 2023 and it's still the best decision I've made. I'm treatment resistant. It immediately helped my insomnia, which was amazing, but everything else took about 5 months before looking better for me. Still, it took 2 years for the depression to go away. I feel like an enormous burden has been lifted. My life was worth the cost and I hope I can continue this for a long time so I don't lose this progress. It's most successful if you're committed to it. Personally I had nothing to lose. Nothing else had worked and I felt like it was my last chance. I'm glad I took that chance. I find that having a therapy appointment the same day helps me process difficult things faster than usual. The only thing I struggle with here is sometimes the accountant doesn't process things on time or send receipts.

This place changed my life! Before I started my ketamine infusions I was dealing with pretty severe mental health struggles. I had a hard time eating, sleeping, and basically doing anything. I was really nervous to start but they made me feel very comfortable and safe. By the end of my six infusions, I was sleeping well every night, eating, and ultimately doing so much better. I have a much better understanding of myself and how to move forward. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who thinks they need it. Worth every penny.

[Edit, from my last treatment on 03/29/2023 to now 03/14/2025, my life had significantly improved after dping the 6 course treatment for anxiety and depression. I had my booster today, and I couldn't be happier. The individuals who assisted me back in 2023 and now om 2025 are super kind and full of heartfelt care and sympathy. I would absolutely recommendthis businessto anyone who has reached their wits end and need a miracle! When amd if i ever need another booster i will choose Utah Ketamine Clinic again] I went into this treatment hopeful that it would help with my anxiety and depression and I cant even expmain how just after 1 treatment the difference I noticed!. It felt as if a heavy weight lifted almost instantly and the sadness i had for 20 years dissipated and i cannot express the gratitude I felt after the fusion. The staff was amazing at explaining everything, and how they treated me made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend this infusion to anyone who is struggling with anxiety and depression. Big shout out to the clinic for making me feel happiness after such a long period of sadness!.

Staff is very friendly. One can know immediately that everyone that works there is a step above their typical hospital counterparts. They truly care. This was our 6th visit in just a few weeks. So far so good. Not sure why we listened to the psychiatrists for 30 years of them warning us. Maybe trying to protect their jobs? I am not saying ketamine is always 100% the first step but after medications stop working for 10yrs why not try it out. You have to listen to the clinic staff and follow their recommendations. It is not cheap and requires a commitment from the patient and a dedicated helper. I will give a follow-up update in about 4-6 months but so far a noticeable improvement. Follow-up Nov 23rd. After the predicted 'Ketamine Comedown" that the Clinic staff warned us about. We are beginning to see the spark return to the eyes. What is "Ketamine Comedown"? Well, I am certainly no Ketamine expert but from what I have read about and was informed by the staff during our treatment visits, some patients experience a depression/anxiety relapse for about 1-2 weeks. As of just a couple of days ago, it is very apparent that the spark of life has returned. I and many of our friends see it in the eyes. A sparkle. Going for walks, active in and around the home, a simple smile, and becoming more productive have returned to our home. What do I mean by "returned to our home"? We have been living ith the effect of severe depression/anxiety for many decades. yes DECADES. I am not going to give false hope to anyone as I have always been told from the beginning that Ketamine is not an effective treatment for everyone in every case. My recommendation: Is it worth a try?...i would say yes. In our case everything else had failed and when i say failed I mean for many years (decade) of trying different medications. Now remembering back...The first of the 6 treatments was frankly very scary. I nearly called out for the nurse on several occasions. We almost decided not to return for the remaining 5 treatments. You have to remain committed and it takes faith. leave it in God's hands. During the treatment, I would not suggest leaving your loved one on their own for even a second as they truly need you by their side. Hold their hand just for a piece of reality as they go into restfulness. There is music in the room/background. Try to only play instrumental with no voice/words. Soft relaxing not ACDC or rock. Christian/classical/ piano, guitar, Christmas is fine but no voice. They need to know they are not facing this healing journey alone and maybe just want to hear your soft voice say "we love you". Treatment #1 did not feel or seem like the scariness/fear/anxiety was worth continuing the treatments. Honestly we almost decided not to return! Treatments 2-6 went very smoothly and with each proceeding treatment we could all see improvements from depression/anxiety. Improvement comes slowly. Again, listen to the experienced staff. American Fork Clinic is the oldest, longest running ketamine clinic in the State. The staff love what they are doing. There are other clinic that are cheaper but honestly, I truly believe one gets what they pay for. I will again update this review in a few months. We did not see enough progress to continue. (MTHFR) mutation test. In some people gene mutations can restrict proper chemistry in the body including the gut that feeds the brain update Aug 2024: my spouse has Cushing Syndrome. It is one of the most missed and misdiagnosed illnesses. She is responding to treatment. UPDATE Feb 2025: Dr Herst NDM discovered the root cause is not Cushing but: wheat/soy allergy resulting in gut leakage. 70-75% of neurons are made in the gut. Her body is riddled with Candida and Epstein Barr. Treatment began Feb 1st

Friendly and professional. Did a great job treating depression and helping negate negative side effects and desired outcomes being achieved. I would recommend trying ketamine for depression.

So grateful for this place. My husband had back surgery after many years of chronic pain and this is the very first time and very long I see him walking okay and not visually in uncomfortable pain. Eric was amazing, he is very professional and the best bedside manners. We will recommend them to any friend or family member.
