Dr.Shah has been nothing less of amazing! I was seriously at wits end with my pain level and didn’t know what to do. The Ketamine infusions was the last straw before surgery. I have several herniations, spinal stenosis, two nerves being pinched , fibromyalgia, and possibly RA. Yes, they are a bit pricey… however, after several infusions, 100% worth it and even my depression has improved, mostly since my pain level isn’t insane. The amount of help this has been for me is insane. I highly recommend these for chronic pain and hope others get as much relief as I have with them. No surgery needed as of now!!

I began ketamine treatment with Dr. Shah during one of the darkest periods of my life. I was deeply depressed, and during the first four sessions, I honestly worried that it wasn’t going to work for me. I considered giving up—but because I was already so close to finishing, I decided to stick with it and complete two more sessions. After the fifth session, everything changed. I struggled with anxiety and depression since adolescence - for the past 30 years. The medication I tried never worked for me. I tried SSRI, SSNI, and cognitive behavorial therapy (many, many medications over many years. None worked). I never got relief from medication for my symptoms until I tried ketamine. I was skeptical at first, but open minded, and eager for some relief. There is no doubt that my ketamine treatments have helped me significantly. How? The best way I would describe it is that it reduces the frequency of negative/depressive thought loops and ruminations. But more importantly, the intensity of the bad thoughts has been drastically reduced. The negative thoughts sometimes arise, but they don’t feel like they saturate my whole being, sometimes lingering for hours or days - the way they did before. For anxiety, it has helped a lot with “impending doom” thought patters and worries. Again, the intensity of the fear/anxiety is greatly reduced. It also has given me a more hopeful outlook. The gloom and doom and moping around being negative is mostly gone. Its really pretty incredible. I have since researched the physiology of what happens during treatments, and ketamine really can help make your brain more nuero-plastic, and able to make new pathways. The science supports the feeling. I did a full 6-treatments protocol, as recommended. Although not cheap, it was worth every penny. If I were to quantify the relief? I feel 70-75% better than before the treatments. I wanted to write a review so that hopefully someone else that is struggling, but skeptical, will read it and give it a try. It brought me a lot of relief and I am grateful for it.

I'm so glad that I discovered this therapy. I was a little hesitant at first and so was my wife because I have a history of substance abuse. I have been on 3 anti depressants, maximum dose, for 25 years. Lexapro, Prozac, and Trazadone. They quit working a long time ago.
