Serenity Bay Health — Ketamine Clinic in Auburn, MI

I had a horrible experience here. They took me off medication that was working for me, put me on a bunch of other medication, and then just increased the dose (twice!) of the new medication when I told them I was feeling horrible on it. Also, they gave me an adhd test that lasted a total of 20 minutes. Those tests are supposed to take hours. Definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Dr. Cox is an amazing provider. He's caring and compassionate and takes the time to really listen. He was amazing with my son and he addressed all of my concerns. We are fortunate to have him and I have complete faith in his care.

I had my BEST therapist there. Great Psych NP & Psychiatrist. Then, my meds were supposed to be sent to pharmacy a month ago. The ins company never received them. Yesterday, I called about this. They said I need to see the NP for meds. No appt can be made until a no-show appt payment. I told them I would pay it to get an appointment. They "have to talk about it and call me back. I don't mind paying for a missed appt. But, it's only fair they compensate me for the few app ts I showed up for, that therapist had scheduled wrong or canceled without notifying me, like last week and today. Only fair. They have not called me, nor has my therapist, whom I left a frantic voicemail for. I feel utterly abandoned. I'm out of my meds, with no hope in sight. This is totally unethical! I do NOT recommend this facility! Less than a year in their care. I'm not going back. My old therapist now accepts my ins, & they are concerned enough to get me right in. CMH! Mental health and meds are critical. I'm floored they won't help. Also, my wonderful therapist is leaving the practice, & did not make sure I have another therapist. Extremely disappointed and frustrated. Zero stars. Disappointed, cuz they were great b4 this!

if i could leave 0 stars i would but i cant. this place sucks, they only care about the money they dont actually care about you, or have let you have a say in your own body. this place is genuinely disgusting. also had a terrible experience the last time they gave me my shot, i was in so much pain physically and mentally and getting “help” from here made it 10000x worse. i don’t recommend.

Money matters more than mental health. I really wanted to give a solid 5 star review because the telehealth visits I had were great. However, I’m dealing with some pretty frustrating billing issues. I started with a balance of $25, which then jumped to $95, and somehow now it's at $200. I've only had a couple of visits, and I've been stuck waiting on a prior authorization for a treatment that hasn't happened yet. It just doesn't make sense to see my balance rise so much without any actual treatments. I hope they can sort this out because I do like their service, but the billing confusion is really making it hard to feel good about everything. Again my bill goes up. I have paid each visit save the last in clinic treatment. What angers me is being denied treatment and a med check for a debatable bill of less than 300.00. I'm currently struggling with a spike in depression, but can't come in.

From the moment you walk in at the front desk, to the Sparavato techs (if that’s what they’re called), it’s clear that everyone here genuinely enjoys what they do. Their positivity is a constant reminder for me to keep going. My mental health has improved tremendously over the past two years, and Serenity Bay has played a huge role in that. Thank you for helping me feel stronger, more hopeful, and more like myself again. More importantly, for bringing my life back to me!

Very good doctors and therapists been with Serenity Bay since 2022. Dr Cox properly diagnosed me with BPD.😀
