Before I went to see dr Mallek, I think I was at the lowest I’ve ever been! My bipolar was out of control, and I was very very manic! Also, the pain that I have had for years has been very bad. After my first ketamine treatment, I already started feeling better I wasn’t as depressed. I certainly wasn’t manic. And as they progress, I just kept getting better and better. It is like Nite and day now. I can’t thank Dr Mallek and Marlyn for their kindness, openness, knowledge and just making me feel safe and cared for. Thank you two so much from the bottom of my heart!

UTTERLY LIFE CHANGING!!! I have written a lot of reviews in my life, but this one is special to me. I have a family member who came down with a rare medical condition called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) after an ankle surgery 4 months ago. CRPS is BRUTALLY painful, worse than childbirth on pain scales, and 24/7 for days, months, and years for some people. My family member did a very intensive ketamine protocol at Relevare (5 days in a row, 4 hours at a time...basically a ketamine coma), and is now pain free!!! This feels like an absolute miracle after watching my beloved family member choking down opiates to try and cope (and even opiates didn't fully remove the pain!) So to see her pain free feels nothing short of a miracle!!! I must say, Dr. Mallek runs this ketamine clinic brilliantly. She is and anesthesiologist and is incredibly knowledgeable about all of the nuances of how to use ketamine for helping people step away from both physical and emotional pain. We were given a very clear set of instructions for how to prepare, Dr. Mallek did a very thorough intake on my family member's medical history and medications, and made a personalized plan for how to work with my very medically complex family member. Personally, I wouldn't go anywhere else after what I witnessed at this clinic. Not only is my family member completely pain free, but the whole experience has utterly changed how she views her life in a deeply positive way. If you are in pain, or dealing with one of the mental health issues that this clinic treats, I urge you to at least make a call to discuss your situation with Dr. Mallek. And if you choose to take this step, I would actually be happy for Dr. Mallek to give you my number so I can talk to you about our experience. There isn't a single thing I would change about this clinic's approach...it is caring, medically impeccable, and brilliantly executed from the beginning to the end. I get no kickback to write this review and have no personal investment in this clinic. I am simply a very happy client, and I am grateful beyond words to Dr. Mallek and her assistant Marlyn for giving my family member's life back to her and to us!!! Thank you!!!

A great clinic with very qualified staff. They gave me individualized care tailored for my specific needs. I felt safe and well cared for and this experience has improved my outlook and mood. I would highly recommend.

Having contacted several ketamine clinics in Colorado, Relevare really stood out by answering my questions promptly, personally and with a real sense of care. I had a truly incredible experience with Dr. Mallek and her team during my treatment. I was treated for PTSD and Anxiety resulting from combat operations in Afghanistan and Egypt. During this treatment I came to terms with things for the first time in over 10 years. I went into this treatment after having spoken to a psychiatrist regularly from 2013-2015 and another one starting in spring 2023-present, my psychiatrist at the VA recommended that I explore this option after he suspected that I was resistant to the traditional PTSD treatment I had received. I reached out and was admittedly very fragile, the first time I spoke to Dr. Mallek I was overcome with emotions when Afghanistan came up and quickly broke down crying. I was badly injured in an accident there in 2013 and unfortunately had to cut my military career short this year when I medically retired due to complications with my injury. I was dealing with our loss in Afghanistan in 2021 and trying to process the fact that we had somehow lost a war that we had won all the battles in. I began feeling very disillusioned, bitter, embarrassed, and ashamed that I had served there. I thought that our intentions were good following 9/11 but after being there I began feeling as though participated in the forceful occupation of another country. Like a 21st century gamble at colonialism, we tried to make a nation out of our image with people who did not want our help in governing themselves and who culturally are more tribal in dealing with issues than a western mind can comprehend. I was angry that I had went there, I felt as though I had been tricked and brainwashed into thinking that the war in Afghanistan was somehow keeping my country safe. In reality, it seems like the war existed only for those of us that were there. I thought that my injury was somehow a punishment for having gone there. Even though I was young when I enlisted (17 years old) I was beating myself up everyday and had the weight of guilt for an entire war on my shoulders. I know this is an unpopular opinion to have about the war in Afghanistan and I was struggling with the fact that I was having these thoughts as well. When I talked to my psychiatrist about these feeling he admitted that roughly 70% of the patients he sees that also fought there are having the same issues dealing with it that I have. Since the attacks in Gaza I have had an intense relapse in my PTSD symptoms, I imagine other veterans are too. This can help. If you can financially afford this treatment, I absolutely recommend pursuing it. Dr Mallek is so kind, patient and understanding when discussing difficult topics and allowed me to change my internal narratives and see things from a different perspective even prior to the first infusion. Dr. Mallek takes a lot of care in screening and working with the patient’s care team if available, if not she is able to speak in a way that almost bridges the gap between an Anesthesiologist and a psychiatrist. Patient education about the procedure, risks, possibilities, and expectation management upon completion are a very important part of the work Dr. Mallek does, and she takes special care to make sure that patients have the tools they need to succeed. Throughout the office there are subtle intention-setting cues that subconsciously assisted me in my treatment. Everything from the colors of the walls, the decoration in the office and the music that she provides in the infusions all help you to the most beneficial headspace leading up to treatment. Again, I can not overstate how helpful this treatment was for me, while everyone is different and responds differently to the medication, I can say this has been the most effective treatment I have received. If you can afford it, do it.
