Desert Sands Ketamine — Ketamine Clinic in St. George, UT

Had a terrible experience. I told the Dr I was extremely sensitive to all meds and had issues with nausea and was assured it would be taken into consideration. Unfortunately it wasn't and I believe I was nearly overdosed. Started vomiting almost immediately and because I was laying back and my body was numb I couldn't push the button for help or sit up. Thank God my husband was there to help me or I would have died choking on my own vomit. They continued the infusion despite this and I vomited several more times with my husband scooping the vomit out of my mouth so I didn't choke. I was so out of it I couldn't feel any part of my body when they said it was time to leave. I was still vomiting and couldn't walk so they hauled me into a wheel chair and out to the parking lot where I continued to vomit and left me there with my husband who had recently had back surgery and wasn't supposed to lift but he had no choice as I couldnt walk. Continued nausea and feeling awful for 3 days. I called and told them about my experience and to their credit the Dr did call and leave me a message but all he said was he was sorry the "experience wasn't what we hoped" I felt like no consideration was given to all the warnings I told them about how sensitive I am and I so easily could have died if I would have been alone as they only check on you every 15 minutes. Please be careful

I underwent ketamine treatment a few months back. I have changed my outlook on life. I have pretty severe depression to the point that I often thought of suicide. Living with these thoughts was terrible. To the point where I hoped for death from other causes (just not my own). After ketamine I’m no longer having these thoughts. I want to live again and that is very freeing.

I was broken, I could barely handle life in general. I can’t begin to explain how many times they saved my life. Like I said before, I’ve been going for over three years, and it’s the best money I’ve ever spent on my self-care. Dr. Evans gave me help to see my true potential and that my life had the possibility for true success! We will constantly be challenged with obstacles in our lives. It’s just part of how life goes. Dr. Evans and his wife Shannon along with their entire staff are absolutely fantastic! They literally treat you like family and truly care about your health and well-being. Ketamine therapy is an absolute must for anyone struggling with crippling anxiety and depression and chronic pain issues. Their clinic is state of the art and very quiet and welcoming and everything is catered to the patients personal needs. They were efficient and I was helped but my credit cards had fraud alerts on them right after I used them for ketamine therapy. THREE times I had to get new credit cards. I won’t go back to them and I won’t let them store my financial information.
