I highly recommend this clinic for accupuncture and naturopathic medicine to anyone who is trying to establish care. Dr. Fernandez guided me through a plan to heal my gut and promote long term gut health which continues to feel better in ways I didn't realize possible. He addressed concerns of mine that were not even considered by the paradigm of western medicine. He is also an extremely skilled acupuncturist which I continue to see him for. I cannot say good enough things about Dr. Fernandez or the Synaptic Institute.

In 2022, I became a student at Synaptic Institute's Psilocybin Training Program, Cohort 1. It was one of the first training programs of its kind in the state's new psilocybin industry. I could see from the start that Synaptic had worked very hard to find great trainers, people with real experience in underground psychedelic work, and people who understood the ethics needed to do this work in a way that doesn't harm clients. Matthew took a big risk making this program happen, and I appreciate the commitment to healing that led him to take that chance. I especially appreciated how much effort Matthew and the instructors put into each class, and into each interaction with students. They were very open to our feedback from the very start. I would recommend working with them, for sure! It wasn't a perfect program, but I never expected that for a first time training program. What Synaptic did have in abundance was people who wanted to help each other be the best facilitators we could be, and much, much heart. She provided her expertise and treatment facilitation in a way that made me feel respected and empowered. She was not only understanding but also relatable, which made me trust her guidance even more. I felt as if I were opting into a power dynamic, rather than being forced into one.
