Ketamine-infusion treatments at Lumina Mind Health have benefited the mental health of our family member. I have a young adult family member who has suffered from Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) for years, and more recently experiencing severe suicidal thoughts. Years of various prescribed depression medications, mood stabilizers, etc. have not worked to improve mental health. Recent use of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapies have shown minor improvement. Recently, we had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Erin Boyd (DO) and psych nurse Trish Allmon (MSN, CAS, AGNPC-BC, PMHNP-BC) at Lumina Mind Health. After thorough evaluation of medial history, these ladies administered over time several ketamine-infusions to our family member resulting in very positive improvements in mental health. Professionally administered Ketamine-infusions do work, and can also be very cost effective as compared to other therapies. These ladies are well trained and experienced in their medical profession and very compassionate about their work to help people get out of depression. Anyone who has tried depression medication, and other therapies without much success, should seriously consider a consultation with these ladies. Dr. Boyd and Dr. Trish were wonderful to work with. They were welcoming, professional, and comforting during my ketamine infusions. I truly can’t think of anywhere else I would’ve wanted to be for my first ketamine experience. They always took their time with me and I never felt rushed afterwards. The office itself is clean and inviting. (The soap in the restroom smelled so good!) I would highly recommend Lumina Health to anyone searching for an office for ketamine infusions.

I would give Trish 10 out of 5 stars if I could. She has truly been an answer to our prayers in treating our son who has multiple diagnoses and mental health challenges. Dealing with psychiatrists and mental health professionals over my lifetime, never have I met someone who is not only educated in the medicines she prescribes, and the illnesses she treats, she goes above and beyond to not only educate herself, but takes the time and is able to explain to her patients as well as family members what they see as a “diagnosis” based on the symptoms and/or mental health status of the patient, as well as the medicines being prescribed and what they are for and are treating and doesn’t just prescribe medicines, she manages them and closely works with her patients to make sure they are at and/or safely getting to the right dosages as well as acknowledging any side effects and overall patient care. She truly cares for her patients and they are not just a number, they are real people and she treats not only her patients but the entire family with such care. She has gone above and beyond! Words can’t even describe how appreciative we are for Trish and what she has done for our son, and continues to do to help him get back to living the life God designed him to live by managing his medicines and helping find the right levels for him personally to live his best life.

Patricia Allmon is a very conscientious provider. She has been managing my medication and has been so very helpful in getting it right. She is very prompt to respond to all my texts and requests and has straightened out issues several times with the pharmacy. Trish is the best and I am a person to her. I know she has my best interest at heart.
