I’ve flown here from LA twice now to get treatments from Dr. Barnett and her team. I’ve found the team to be ever professional, caring, and they truly create an individualized plan that’s supportive of your current needs. The suites are beautifully appointed and so so cozy. I recommend them without reservation. Don’t entrust this portion of your healthcare to a non-MD led team! I’m so grateful to Dr. Barnett and the practice she’s cultivated. 🩷

This clinic is inhabited by angels! This was one of the best experiences of my life. The staff made me feel instantly at ease, and cared for. I would recommend this clinic, and treatment for any, and everyone! My only regret is that I can only give them 5 stars. They deserve at least 10!

you’re supposed to be monitored during these treatments Dr Barnett could never get her monitoring equipment to work. It took up more than half my appointment just trying to get her equipment right then the staff she hires to monitor you during your treatment is too busy running back-and-forth between patients that when my infusion was completed, I was left unattended with a needle in my arm waiting to have it removed almost having to remove it myself. Dr Barnett is not concerned about her patience. She’s looking too deep in herpockets. The staff that she partners with Jessica Stilla would attend by appointments pretending to care about my mental health come to find out. She just wanted an in with Dr Barnett.

Dr. Barnett, Julie, Noami and Dr. Capps are doing great thing for veterans at Physician’s Ketamine Institute. The entire office is setup for a pleasant healing experience with well thought out decor, soft blankets, couches, and a comfy chair to get your infusion in. The entire area is covered in a cool ocean scene and Dr. Barnett asks everyone to try to keep their voices down while people are getting their infusions. Dr. Barnett is kind and compassionate and as a veteran herself, she genuinely cares for veterans and the problems we face. Dr. Barnett is thorough, she explains the entire experience in detail and she will do her best to calm any anxiety one might feel during the treatment session. My case was a little more challenging because of a chronic illness I have but Dr. Barnett and her team guided me through each infusion no matter how I showed up. She’s very patient and she keeps in contact with you before during and after treatment. Make sure you bring an eye mask and relaxing music with you. It’ll make or break the experience. Also, it’s completely worth getting a therapist to sit with you during the treatment. It’s not for everyone but if you can afford to, Dr. Ashley Capps is experienced in psychedelic therapy and medicine so she understands what you’re going through and is trained in how to navigate anything that pops up during treatment. Dr. Barnett (and team) take healthcare to a NEW level. Specifically, her passion for helping humans combined with more than a decade of hands-on expertise, she produces extraordinary results. The safety, comfort and authentic hospitality of the facilities is top notch. To be downright honest, as a military Veteran, I was hesitant about starting IV Ketamine infusions. My hesitation was likely from numerous failed attempts regarding “conventional” treatments for PTSD, Anxiety and Depression. A phone call to PKI was my Hail Mary. Dr. Barnett’s rapid response was the game-winning touchdown catch that I wasn’t expecting. Her direct response and ability to quickly establish a plan of action - made all the difference. In my opinion, IV Ketamine treatments should be explored by ANYONE who has lost their life balance. At the end of the day, our brains are extremely sophisticated electrical devices. Similar to all other electronic devices, to function properly it must be restarted from time to time. To me, IV Ketamine is the ON/OFF switch for the human brain. (My brain is one of those that never seems to turn off). Through my initial infusions and follow-on boosters, this treatment has allowed me to regain my life balance while reconnecting with my true self. I’ll forever be grateful to have stumbled on this precious gift. The world would be a much better place if we could “copy & paste” Dr. Barnett in every city. Since that is not realistic nor possible, I strongly recommend a trip to Destin, Florida. Personally, I drive approx 2 hrs (one-way) and it’s worth every mile!
